Truck Show

The NW Chapter’s 24th Annual Truck Show will be held July 20th, on the grounds of the LeMay Collections Marymount in Spanaway, (the location we have our spring General Meeting & potluck). This year’s feature truck will be the 1940 Strerling 160 Tanker Truck & Trailer. The grounds will be available for our use from Friday July 19th at 12 PM for setting up and registering any trucks parking for the night, Saturday July 20th 6 to 7 AM for the start of registering trucks with the show ending at 4 PM and clean up, and on Sunday from 12 PM we will be allowed back on site to finish up any clean-up and taking down any tents. Trucks will be allowed to stay inside the locked gate over night, but no camping in the upper grounds area. Primitive camping will be allowed in the lower field area.

All trucks are welcome to attend, from pick-ups & Jeeps to Class 8's, working/retired trucks, restored/custom trucks, fire trucks/military trucks. The layout of the grounds will not permit any semi-trucks in for parking at the show due to limited turning space available. The chapter is looking into where semi’s or trailers could be parked off site. The maneuvering of large trucks around on the grounds is limited, so the length of trucks will need to be limited to 30' to 40' max in length.

The registration costs will be the same as last year: ATHS members - $10 for one or more trucks and $10 per truck for non-ATHS members. The first 100 trucks registering will receive a dash plaque. This year we are looking at having pre-registration of trucks take place at our Chapter’s General Meetings or by contacting Mike Slade.

For those who have attended our past truck shows, we will again have our Chapter meet and greet tent and Tiny Truckers Kids Tent, so bring your kids and grand-kids to the show. We are also planning on having the Brook’s Museum tent and other vendors along with maybe a food & coffee vendor. New to the show this year, there will be a music DJ to play some tunes. The Chapter is working out details with the LeMay Collections Museum regarding a discounted admission tour there.
